Tanishaa Mukerji, daughter of veteran actress Tanuja and Kajol‘s sister, has had her fair share of ups and downs in love. Her highly publicised relationships with Uday Chopra and Armaan Kohli garnered the attention of fans and media alike but unfortunately, it was not meant to last. In her recent interview, Tanishaa opened up about her personal life and marriage plans.
When asked about it, Tanishaa told Hindustan Times, “Let people be curious, they have every right to be, and I have every right to be private.”
Speaking on the topic of marriage, Tanishaa said, “I think marriage is a wonderful institution for people who understand it and find the right people, it’s beautiful. As for me, I am always proposing and God is always disposing.” To conclude, the actress remarked, “Everybody wants to find that special someone to grow old with.”

Earlier, during a chat with ETimes, Tanishaa had talked about her past relationships and how it helped her grow, taught self-awareness and made her a stronger person. “It opened up my eyes. I realized that there are different people in this world and not everybody thinks the way you do. I didn’t know what I was doing when I was younger. I was crazier and wilder. I was not aware, but now I am,” Tanishaa had shared the valuable lessons learned through her separation with Armaan Kohli.

In another revealing confession, Tanishaa had opened up about her relationship with Uday Chopra, son of legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra. “Uday and I crossed paths during the filming of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. That was around 10-15 years ago. We became friends, and we continued to be that way. It was during the film that we got closer. And then, we fell in love. It was just a natural progression for us,” She had said, adding that their relationship ended in 2 years and found coping to be tough emotionally.
